The Beginning
Since I was young I enjoyed being outside smelling the different herbs and plants in my parents gardens and back field (where wild plants would grow freely). I would taste clover, wild onion, raspberries, and many others. In 2004 after learning about the medicinal properties of plants, I started making herbal tinctures from those grown in my own garden.
The Formulations
A few years later, my interest in herbal medicine turned into making mostly organic beauty and home products. This occurred because I saw the need for better skincare & home products in both my regimen and for family & friends. Bar soap, hair pomade, conditioners, lotions, whipped body butters, creams, lip balms, bath products, body sprays, massage oils, massage candles, natural soy candles, perfumes, and air fresheners were just some formulations that I dove into making.
The Creating
Nowadays I like to keep it simple and enjoy the process of creating. Everything I now make is from scratch; I don’t like to use premade bases. This way I know exactly what amounts and proportions are going into my product and onto your skin. Luxurious organic oils and ingredients are used whenever possible. All my soaps are made from only organic carrier oils.
Today
It has always been a huge passion of mine to help others live fuller healthier lives, which is why I also became a Licensed Massage Therapist and a Therapeutic Foot Soak Technician. With this I can formulate products (body scrubs, lotions, balms, etc.) to apply on clients in therapeutic foot soak or massage treatments!
